教师简介（中英文）：

George is the Director of CENTRIM, the Centre for Change, Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management at the University of Brighton. He is also the Innovation Chair of the British Academy of Management (BAM). He has led research in innovation and entrepreneurship in areas such as managing open innovation for SMEs, enabling innovation in SMEs through peer-to-peer learning networks, empower entrepreneurship through innovation coaching, innovation management for non-high tech SMEs, planning and implementing new product development for SMEs, fostering SMEs’ linkages with external research organizations, public-private partnerships etc.

He is the co-ordinator of the INSPIRE project which looks at best practices of Open Innovation in SMEs to support the professionalization of Open Innovation within SMEs (http://www.inspire-smes.eu). George is also the Academic Lead in the SPARK consortium which looks into the innovation ecosystem for Social Enterprises in Belgium, Holland and UK . He was the co-ordinator of the RAPPORT consortium (www.rapport-project.eu), which looked at best practices to connect SMEs to the public or private research organisations. He also worked for a consortium that helped EASME to develop the innovation coaching scheme for the SME Instrument, the flagship EU programme to support innovation in SMEs.

He is the founder of the Profitnet programme which has included a number of peer-to-peer learning networks in UK, Ireland and South Africa with the participation of more than 2,000 SMEs around the world. The last evaluation exercise of the British Government (REF - Research Excellence Framework) rated the programme as an international leading case.

He is the author of a number of papers in academic journals, books and international conferences while he has designed and delivered many executives training and consultancy programmes. 由Dr. Tsekouras本人开发的一套商业机会开发工具，主要关注如何通过创新使某一商业机会最终成为新的业务。该模块在英国、爱尔兰、塞浦路斯、哥伦比亚等多个发达和发展中国家得到了成功应用。

A special roadmap will be presented and discussed of how innovation can be used to lead a new idea into a new business. The roadmap has been developed by myself and covers all the phases of the innovation journey from the ideation process to the sales and marketing. The course has been developed successfully in several countries (e.g. UK, Republic of Ireland), Cyprus, Colombia etc.) to both University students and business executives (16 hours) 预期目标：
